The base offered here is a bit of an obscure size, measuring 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 1
Heavy walls at just over 1/4 thick
There are people who use this base table down and legs up. The ID of the inside of the legs fit a finished 4×4 nicely.
Bolt the table down, upside down. Put the post inside the legs.
This base is made using aluminum alloy 319.1
